Hoodie Styles We Produce
Pullover with a kangaroo pocket is the volume style and our most refined pattern. Full-zip needs a heavier-gauge zipper matched to fleece weight — a zipper too light for a 400gsm fleece will strain at the chin guard within a few washes, so we spec zipper gauge against your fabric choice before cutting. Half-zip sits between the two structurally, closer to pullover construction with a shorter zip run at the collar.
On fit, we grade oversized and boxy streetwear blocks with dropped shoulders, cropped lengths for fashion-forward lines, and standard regular fit for general retail. Sleeve length and body length are the two dimensions clients most often want to adjust from a reference garment, and both are straightforward pattern changes once we have your spec sheet.

Hoodie Fabric & Construction Options
Fabric choice drives both feel and cost. Brushed fleece (240–320gsm) is the standard choice for everyday hoodies — soft inner face, warm, moderate cost. French terry (260–340gsm) has a looped, uncut inner face — lighter, more breathable, and increasingly popular for premium streetwear. Loopback fleece sits between the two, with a slightly finer loop structure and better shape retention after washing.
Hood construction affects both fit and cost. A lined hood (fabric folded and stitched double) holds its shape better and drapes more cleanly, but adds fabric and labor cost versus a single-layer hood. Drawcords can be flat cotton tape, round cord, or ropes with metal or plastic aglets — each needs its own eyelet reinforcement, which we spec in the tech pack review before sampling.
Pocket style is a simple but visible choice: a kangaroo pocket (single pouch, both hands enter from the sides) is the classic option and slightly cheaper to construct. A split pocket (two separate compartments) costs a little more in stitching time but is preferred by some streetwear brands for its cleaner front panel line.

Zipper gauge against fleece weight (full-zip)
A zipper that is too light for 400 GSM fleece strains at the chin guard within a few washes. We match gauge to fabric before sampling. This is the default map unless your tech pack says otherwise.

What 300 pieces looks like (one pullover style)
Competitors advertising “300 pieces” often mean 300 per colour. Ours is 300 per style. Here is an example split. Change the size curve, keep the 300.

A pullover and a full-zip in the same fabric are two styles, so 300 plus 300. The same body in two colours is still one style when the pattern is identical.

AQL for a 300-piece hoodie lot
A 300-piece style sits in the 281–500 lot band. At General Inspection Level II that is code letter H, so we inspect 50 pieces. We use Critical 0, Major 2.5 and Minor 4.0 unless your PO says otherwise.

Duty and HS code
Landed cost on a 300-piece hoodie order
Cotton knit hoodies usually classify under HS 6110.20, and hoodies made mainly of man-made fibre fall under 6110.30 at a higher US rate. Confirm the line on your invoice. We quote FOB Bangladesh, and duty sits on top of that, which is why the same hoodie is a different buy in each market. Confirm the rate with your broker before you lock retail pricing.

The same shipment into the UK carries 0% duty when it qualifies under DCTS, and VAT still applies. VAT or GST applies on top in the UK, Canada, Japan and Australia. Printing & Embellishment on Fleece
Embroidery is in-house and the standard for chest, sleeve, and hood-panel logos — on lighter fleece we back it with a stabilizer to stop puckering, since a bare embroidery run on thin brushed fleece will pull and distort around dense stitch areas. Screen print, DTF, and heat transfer are all available for graphic and photographic front/back designs. Screen print is the more economical choice at higher volumes with simple color counts; DTF suits smaller runs or gradient-heavy artwork. Private Label, OEM, and Blank Wholesale
Most hoodie clients order private label — your woven neck labels, care labels, and packaging built onto our production, sourced through our label suppliers or yours if you already have one. OEM follows your tech pack exactly with no design input from us. If you're supplying your own fleece and only need cut-make-trim, that's a CMT arrangement, and the minimum is the same 300 pieces per style.

Getting Started
Sampling, Sizing & Lead Time
A proto sample typically takes 10-14 days once we have your tech pack, and up to 10 free revision rounds are included before bulk cutting starts. Heavier fleece and lined-hood constructions tend to push toward the longer end of that window since there's more to fit-check. Full size runs are graded against your spec sheet or, if you don't have one yet, our size chart guide covering US, UK, and EU conversions. Bulk production runs 30-45 days after pre-production sample sign-off, with AQL 2.5 inspection before shipment.

Hoodie Manufacturer FAQ
What's the minimum order for a hoodie style with multiple colors?
The 300-piece MOQ applies per style for OEM and ODM orders, and can typically be split across 3-4 colors and a full size range within that single style minimum — you don't need 300 pieces of one exact color. CMT orders where you supply your own fabric also start at 300 pieces per style. Use our MOQ calculator to plan your color and size split.
Can you print or embroider on fleece without distorting the fabric?
Yes, with the right method for the fabric weight. Puff print and embroidery both work well on brushed fleece and French terry above 260gsm; on lighter fleece we recommend a stabilizer backing for embroidery to prevent puckering.
What's the difference between brushed fleece and French terry for my brand?
Brushed fleece is warmer and has a more traditional hoodie feel at a lower cost — good for basics and high-volume programs. French terry is lighter, drapes better, and reads as a more premium product — common for streetwear and elevated basics lines willing to pay a moderate premium per piece.
Do you offer oversized or cropped hoodie fits?
Yes. We grade to your spec sheet or reference garment — oversized, boxy, cropped, and standard fits are all available from the same fabric and construction options, provided the pattern is confirmed at the sampling stage.
Can you produce private label hoodies with my own brand labels?
Yes, private label is the default setup for most hoodie clients — your woven neck labels, care labels, and packaging on our production. We source labels directly or work from your existing supplier if you already have one.
Is 300 pieces per colour or per style?
Per style. A black and a heather pullover from the same pattern count as one style if you split them inside 300. Factories that advertise “300 pieces” often mean 300 per colour, which is 600 for two colours. Ask before you compare quotes.
What HS code do hoodie shipments use?
Most cotton knit pullover and zip hoodies ship under HS 6110.20. Hoodies where man-made fibre is the main fibre fall under 6110.30, and knit versus woven can also change the heading. We put our proposed line on the documents, and you or your broker confirm it for duty. Use our HS code tool.
Why not a 30-piece MOQ like other hoodie manufacturers?
Very low minimums usually mean a sample room or a stock-fleece decorate-and-ship line. Custom dye, a graded size run and AQL inspection at an export factory are priced at 300 pieces per style. Below that, print-on-demand or a small studio is the better fit.
How long does a hoodie order take from sample approval to shipment?
30-45 days for bulk production after you approve the pre-production sample, with heavier fleece and lined-hood constructions running toward the longer end.
